Profile: Karen Caldwell Bryant
Karen Bryant is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Educational Administration and Policy Program (EDAP) at the University of Georgia. Prior to joining the EDAP faculty, Dr. Bryant worked for 30 years in K-12 education, serving as a classroom teacher, assistant principal, principal, district director of curriculum and district leadership develpment mentor. She has served as a consultant working with school districts in Texas and Pennsylvania on strategic planning and school improvement. Her research interests include effective models for developing scholar practitioners in educational leadership and partnerships between universities and school districts for improved preparation of school leaders who positively impact student learning. Dr. Bryant received her Ed.D. from the University of Georgia.
