Profile: Jamon H. Flowers
Jamon H. Flowers is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Educational Administration and Policy (EDAP) program at the University of Georgia. He has earned degrees and certifications from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte, the University of Minnesota, and the College of William & Mary. Prior to joining the EDAP faculty, Dr. Flowers served as a teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, and principal. He has professional experience in rural, suburban, and urban school settings. Additionally, Dr. Flowers has served in administrative roles at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. His research interests include educational policy, race and educational leadership, and rural educational leadership. More specifically, Dr. Flowers’s research focuses on understanding the intersectionality of race, educational leadership, and opportunity.
