Profile: Gail S Verona

Gail S. Verona is an Assistant Professor of Professional Practice in the Department of Educational Theory, Policy and Administration in the Graduate School of Education at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. As Program Coordinator of the Masters Program in Educational Administration and Supervision, Dr. Verona provides clinical supervision and support for the supervisor, principal, and superintendent certification programs and teaches graduate level courses in administration and supervision. Dr. Verona earned her doctoral degree in Educational Administration and Supervision from Rutgers University in 2001 and has an extensive background in K-12 leadership and curriculum development. Her administrative positions include Interim Superintendent/Principal of Bradley Beach Public Schools, Superintendent/Principal of Jamesburg Public Schools, Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction in the Elmwood Park and Old Bridge Township Public School districts, and Supervisor of Instruction in the Middlesex County Vocational Technical High School District. Dr. Verona began her career teaching at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.
