Profile: Jimmy Sebastian
James Sebastian is an Associate Professor in department of Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis (ELPA) at the University of Missouri-Columbia. He received his PhD in ELPA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His research interests include the study of organizational theory and behavior, organizational learning, school leadership, and urban school reform. Focusing primarily in quantitative methods, including the application of multiple level and latent variable modeling, he is also interested in the application of mixed-methods and qualitative comparative analysis in examining school leadership and organization. His work has been published in the Educational Administration Quarterly, Teacher’s College Record, the Journal of Education Administration, and Educational Policy.
