Dr. Nahavandi is an educator and  scholar who specializes in organizational leadership with a focus on culture. She is the author of numerous articles and chapters about leadership, culture and ethics and several books including The Art and Science of Leadership, now in its 7th edition (published by Pearson) and Organizational Behavior (published by Sage). She has held several academic leadership position including department chair of Leadership Studies at USD and associate dean at Arizona State University where she holds the title of Emerita Professor.
