Profile: Doyne Scott Elliff
Dr. Scott Elliff retired as Superintendent of the Corpus Christi (TX) Independent School District in 2014, following a 32-year career in public education that included service as a teacher and central office administrator, in addition to his 8 years in the superintendency. Elliff was also a Senior Consultant with the Panasonic Foundation, Inc., working with superintendents, union leaders, and school boards in urban school districts across the country. He received his doctoral degree from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in 2011.
After retiring from the superintendency, Elliff took the position he currently holds at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, where he leads the Superintendent Preparation Program.
