Profile: Carl Fahrenwald

I became a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Administration and Human Resource Development (College of Education) at Texas A & M in the fall of 2018 after a long history in K-12 practice. My career and personal history with Native American and other diverse populations in a variety of public school settings as both a classroom teacher and rural school administrator creates a unique perspective for my current role. These public school experiences from five different districts in two states, included a K-12, rural district and a one-room "remote but necessary" high school. I was a volunteer science teacher in the U.S. Peace Corps (Malawi, Africa) and have also taught in a Native American boarding school.
