Profile: Erica B. Edwards
Dr. Erica B. Edwards is an assistant professor of educational leadership and policy studies at Wayne State University. Her research agenda focuses on the socio-cultural factors in urban public schools limiting educational opportunities among vulnerable youth. As a qualitative research methodologist, her priority is to center the voices of those most adversely affected by educational policies, perceptions, and practices. She believes that in so doing, we achieve educational equity and, indeed, liberation for all.
