Jill Young Reinhardt
Biographical Information

Jill Reinhardt is an educational leader and has been serving for 30 years.  She holds a Doctorate of Educational Leadership from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in addition to a Masters in School Administration and a Bachelor of Science in English from Appalachian State University.  She currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent for K-12 Curriculum and Instruction for the Surry County Schools and has previously served as a district-level director, a high school principal, an instructional specialist, and a high school English teacher.


Her work has been comprised of school-level and district-level leadership including instructional design, curriculum design, and strategic planning.  She is deeply involved in strategic planning and teacher and principalship leadership development with a focus on collective efficacy.


Jill Reinhardt believes in the power of public education and works diligently to ensure all students have opportunities to earn college and/or career credentials in order to prepare them with skills necessary to be successful in a 21st Century economy.  This work includes connecting the classroom and the community through collaborative partnerships to ensure all students have equitable access to education.
