Darcy is a doctoral student in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at the University of Arizona and expectes graduate in 2016. She is also a county based facutly member in 4-H Youth Development who has worked with schools along the U.S./Mexico border for more than a decade. Her research looks at the mismatch between the accountability and regulatory mandates of rural border schools and the needs of Latino/a students and parents.
