Wesley Edwards received his Ph.D. in Educational Policy and Planning in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy from the University of Texas at Austin. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Texas at Austin, and an M.A. in the Sociology of Education, with a focus on education policy, from New York University. Prior to pursuing his Ph.D., he was a middle school math and science teacher, teacher leader, and instructional coach in New York and Texas. His research interests include teacher and school leader career trajectories, school organizational work environments, and the politics and policy of educational leadership.
