David Nguyen is Associate Professor of Urban Education Leadership & Policy and Adjunct Professor of Law at Indiana University - Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI).  David has a BS Ed in Secondary Education from Indiana University Bloomington, a JD/MBA from the IU McKinney School of Law and the IU Kelley School of Business on the IUPUI campus, a LL.M. Adv. from Leiden University in the Netherlands, and a PhD in Education Policy Studies from Indiana University Bloomington. Prior ro academia, he practiced law and served as Director of Disaster Legal Services for the American Bar Association.  He was previously faculty at the University of North Dakota and The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA).  He is licensed to practice law in Indiana, North Dakota, and Texas.
